David Dobrik and WAVERS set the table for New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week has plenty of rooms built around being seen. AT THE TABLE gave its guests a reason to stay for dinner. On September 9, WAVERS Crisps by DOUGHBRIK’S and the Goldburg Family Foundation took over Ketchy Shuby in New York City, where WAVERS Co-Founder David Dobrik and Jack Goldburg of Jack’s Dining Room hosted an evening that paired the usual Fashion Week social whirl with the foundation’s work addressing food insecurity and supporting students.

The result felt closer to a well-connected dinner party than another stop on the NYFW circuit. It was complete with a cocktail hour, family-style meal, surprise dessert, and an after-party that stretched well into the night.

A Guest List Across Worlds

Fashion Week crowds have a habit of pulling from several corners of pop culture at once, and AT THE TABLE leaned into that mix. Dixie D’Amelio and Natalie Noel joined New York Jets running back Breece Hall, Kendall Washington, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Shiggy, and Summer House stars Jesse Solomon and Ben Waddell.

Zach Dereniowski, Kit Keenan, and Lauren Wolfe were among the other creators, athletes, entrepreneurs, media personalities, and tastemakers filling Ketchy Shuby for the evening.

Tomorrow’s Group worked behind the scenes on the concept and execution, overseeing branding, guest-list strategy, event curation, and public relations surrounding Dobrik, Jack’s Dining Room, WAVERS, and the Goldburg Family Foundation.

Dinner Becomes the Main Event

The night opened at 7 p.m. with cocktails and a first taste of the newest WAVERS lineup before guests settled around the tables. Dinner arrived family style, with Ketchy Shuby serving rigatoni vodka, roasted chicken, miso-glazed salmon, and other restaurant staples.

Dobrik and Goldburg eventually became part of the entertainment themselves when the pair received a surprise dessert presentation. Cameras captured the moment before dinner loosened into an after-party, keeping the gathering at Ketchy Shuby long after the plates had been cleared.

Food also connected the party to a larger purpose. The evening raised awareness for the Goldburg Family Foundation’s food pantry and scholarship programs, bringing attention to its work providing food to New York neighbors and creating educational opportunities for underserved students.

WAVERS Takes Its Crunch Into Fall

Guests encountered WAVERS at the table in its latest form, with the brand introducing crisps made with avocado oil and gluten-free ingredients. The four-flavor lineup covers Late Night Pizza, Spicy Pickle, Extra Cheesy, and Hot Honey packaged in new 4-ounce U.S. bags and 80-gram international bags.

The NYFW dinner also preceded another New York food event on the WAVERS calendar. WAVERS and the Goldburg Family Foundation also hosted a booth at the Yes Chef Food Fest at Citi Field in late September.

AT THE TABLE ultimately found its identity in the overlap. A Fashion Week crowd gathered around food, a snack brand entered the evening through the menu instead of dominating it, and the Goldburg Family Foundation used the occasion to put its community programs in front of a wider audience. For one of the first nights of NYFW, the table itself became the place to be.
