The Cyrus women aren’t playing games.
During the Jan. 16 episode of Tish and Brandi Cyrus’ “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, the two seemingly took a dig at Miley Cyrus’ ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
“Men are trash. The majority of them are absolute garbage,” Brandi, who is Miley’s older sister, opined. “But there’s a couple of good ones out there, I guess. I think I found one, so I love that for me.”
Brandi, 37, was speaking about her new boyfriend, Matt, who is Australian, just like Hemsworth.
“You know what, he’s Australian. I’m not gonna rag on American men, but Australian men are just different,” Tish, 57, said.
“Well, not all of them,” Brandi interjected, prompting the mother-daughter duo to look at each other and giggle before moving on to the next subject.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer, 32, and Hemsworth, 35, were involved in a lengthy on-again, off-again relationship before tying the knot in December 2018.
The couple, who met while filming the 2009 movie “The Last Song,” were engaged in 2012 but called it off a year later. They rekindled their romance in 2015.
However, their union was short-lived as they split after less than a year of marriage.
It seems the entire Cyrus family may have a thing for an Aussie twang.
Tish, who was previously wed to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, married Aussie actor Dominic Purcell, 54, in 2023.
For Billy Ray’s part, the “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner, 63, had a brief marriage to Australian singer Firerose that lasted only seven months.
They called it quits in August 2024.
