The Penthouse Pet accused of stealing from older men has hired an Israeli attorney who is trying to get her extradited to her home country — a day before a judge will decide if she is competent to stand trial.
Lawyer Tai Sharki told The Post about his plans to spring former model Adva Lavie from LA County Jail, where she has been locked up since Beverly Hills police spotted her without her ankle monitor in July.
Sharki, who once served a lengthy prison sentence himself, said he was retained by Lavie “just a couple days ago” and described her jail stay as “traumatic.”

“My main goal is to connect her with politicians, Israel has the political power to bring her to Israel,” Sharki said.
The attorney, who specializes in criminal defense, claimed the Israeli government was aware of her situation and they were sending officials from the Consulate to help.
“They just heard about it, if Israeli officials would like to help, it could go very fast.” the attorney said.
Lavie faces six felony charges and 10 years behind bars for using dating apps to steal from older men, and was out on bail under strict conditions, including GPS monitoring after her original arrest in March.

“In Israel for those crimes, it would probably only be one or two years,” Sharki claimed.
The accused model was engaged to billionaire Steven Cloobeck before he called it off earlier this year following the fallout over her arrest.

Lavie and Cloobeck were eating together at Beverly Hills hotspot Avra on July 28 when the Penthouse Pet was arrested after being spotted not wearing her ankle monitor.
It was later found at the posh nearby Peninsula Hotel. The incident was the latest violation of the terms of her bail.

LA Judge Diego Edberhad let her off with a warning on earlier infractions including possession of an Israeli passportand crossing LA County lines.
After the ankle monitor infraction, Ebers ordered her locked up and revoked bail.
Lavie is not eating in prison according to her new attorney. “She weighs 45 kilos (99 pounds) She doesn’t eat because of Kosher issues,” Sharki claimed.

“She is dealing with anti-semitism. There’s a camera on her all the time, she is traumatized,” he added.
Israeli law says a person can’t be extradited from the U.S. until after sentencing but Lavie could be extradited for “humanitarian purposes,” according to Sharki.
He went on to claim Lavie is an Israeli citizen, but wasn’t sure of her U.S. status, “She looks exotic but she’s 100% Israeli,” Sharki said.
The Penthouse Pet is being evaluated by Dr. Tumu, according to another Lavie attorney Jeremy Lessem. “He happens to be a very well respected doctor who the courts trust,” Lessem told The Post.

Lavie is expected in a Hollywood court Friday where a judge will rule if she is competent to stand trial.
The model has gone scorched earth against her once fiance Cloobecksince going to jail, despite him bankrolling her defense after she was arrested.
She called her porn star ex-husband Eden Ives and discussed “using the f–k out of” Cloobeck’s American Express card, according to detectives.
She also said she would testify against the billionaire in his upcoming witness tampering case.
Cloobeck also faces 10 years for allegedly contacting witnesses in Lavie’s case and asking them not to testify. “I’m not sure if she is still in touch with Steven,” Sharki added.
