Angelina Jolie was beaming as she attended a special screening of the film “Wild Horse Nine” in Los Angeles on Monday night, hours after her daughter Vivienne dropped dad Brad Pitt’s last name.
The “Maleficent” actress wore a white shirt and black jacket with matching pants and a pair of black stilettos.
The 51-year-old briefly waved to the paparazzi as she headed inside the Linwood Dunn theater.

“Wild Horse Nine,” directed by Martin McDonagh, is set in Chile in 1973, just before the CIA-backed military coup that overthrew President Salvador Allende.
The film stars John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Parker Posey and Steve Buscemi.
Jolie, who is not involved in the project, previously worked with Malkovich in the 2008 film “Changeling,” which earned her an Oscar nomination.

Page Six exclusively reported on Monday that Jolie’s 18-year-old daughter legally changed her name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.
Vivienne’s attorney, Peter Kenneth Levine, appeared remotely for the Los Angeles court hearing.
Judge Virginia Keeny, who presided over the hearing, read aloud Vivienne’s new legal name that she approved.
Vivienne initially filed her petition on July 20, just eight days after celebrating her 18th birthday alongside her twin brother, Knox.
In court documents obtained by Page Six at the time, the teenager cited “personal” reasons for wanting to remove “Pitt” from her surname.

Three of Vivienne’s siblings, Zahara, 21, Maddox, 25, and Shiloh, 20, already legally removed “Pitt” from their names, as they remain estranged from their famous dad.
Vivienne’s twin brother, Knox, also omitted “Pitt” from his high school diploma earlier this year, although he has not been confirmed to have legally changed his name.
The “Eternals” actress filed for divorce from the “Fight Club” actor in September 2016 after two years of marriage. They were together since 2004.
The exes were declared legally single in 2019 before finally settling their divorce in December 2024 following an eight-year legal battle.

In September, Jolie made rare comments about her role as a mom, telling L’Officiel that “one of the most important things” to her is to let her six children be “individuals.”
“As a parent, you try to do many things, but you also try to not get in the way of this human being who has a life separate from yours and so much potential in their own mind,” she shared.
Angelina added, “You want to make sure that you support them.”
