Collin Gosselin channeled his “rage” against his estranged mom, Kate Gosselin, during an intense battle on “Special Forces.”
During Thursday’s episode, Collin and the other recruits on the Fox reality competition series faced a challenge where they had to exert “extreme violence” and then control themselves.
“This task is about finding controlled aggression,” directing staff member Jason Fox said, telling them they had to act like a “lunatic killer” and then stop when they’re told to. “That’s about being able to turn it on and off.”

In a confessional, Collin reflected on how Kate, who competed on “Special Forces” Season 1, was playing a role in his journey on the show.
“I’m here because my mother has taken a lot of things away from me, but this course is something she can’t take away,” he said. “She took away my childhood, she took away my freedom — and I have a lot of anger.”
Before the challenge began, directing staff member Q told Collin, “This is your chance for revenge. Use that anger, use that rage.”

He also asked Collin if what he went through as a child “still hurts today,” to which he said, “Yes.”
“I want you to go crazy right now,” Q told him. “When you see red, that’s your mom.”
Once the challenge began, Collin was screaming and appeared to be in a fit of rage. Directing staff member Billy told him to give it “everything you’ve got.”
After he called stop, he reminded Collin to breathe. “That was your decompression there. To release all those demons. Now, it’s done.”

Ahead of the intense episode’s airing, Collin shared photos from “Special Forces” on his Instagram, writing, “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option.”
Collin’s appearance on “Special Forces” comes as his memoir, “In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood,” has been making headlines because of the shocking allegations against his mom.
In the tell-all, which hit bookshelves Oct. 13, Collin accused the “Kate Plus 8” star of isolating him from the rest of his seven siblings and locking him in a “small holding cell” for two years, amongst many more disturbing claims.

In an interview with Page Six, he claimed Kate once dragged him by the earso hard that he “went to school … with a swollen ear.”
Kate, however, has categorically denied all of her estranged son’s accusations and made horrifying claimsabout the 22-year-old in turn.
In her TikTok comments, she alleged that Collin had a “history of violent behavior with weapons towards people, the killing of animals, his regular use of racial slurs, and his ‘physical behavior.’”

Collin’s rep, Adriane Schwartz, shut down the reality star’s claims in a statement to Page Six Tuesday.
“Let us be absolutely clear: Collin has never used a weapon to harm a family member, nor has he ever harmed or killed an animal in his lifetime.”
She added, “These allegations are categorically false… To publicly accuse your innocent child of such heinous acts to protect your reputation is beyond reprehensible.”
