Nickelodeon alum Elizabeth Gillies looked totally unrecognizable as she transformed into Luke from the hit Disney movie “Halloweentown” to celebrate the holiday this year.
Gillies took to her Instagram to show off the costume, revealing how she completely altered her facial features by wearing prosthetics designed to look like the character’s signature bulbous nose and boils.
The “Victorious” actress, 33, completed the look with a red, crushed velvet cape, prosthetic elf-like ears, and a multicolored, checkered shirt.

“I’m something of a big cheese around here,” Gillies wrote in the caption of her post, quoting Luke’s famous line.
In the movie, Luke — played by Philip Van Dyke — makes a deal with villain Kalabar to transform from a goblin into a handsome human with a disguise.
Although he is supposed to be the villain’s spy, he ultimately tries to help the protagonist, Marnie, save Halloweentown.
The film premiered in 1998, and has been followed up with three sequels, with a fifth currently in development.

Gillies looked so much like the character that fans couldn’t believe their eyes.
“No one has ever been this iconic,” one Instagram user commented.
Another seconded, “This is unbelievable.”
“THIS IS THE BEST COSTUME EVER,” one person gushed.

Another Instagram follower typed, “My brain actually can’t piece together that this is you.”
However, this isn’t the first time that Gillies has been applauded for a particularly impressive Halloween costume.
In 2023, she and pop star Ariana Grande paid homage to “Showgirls” by dressing up as characters from the 1995 erotic thriller. Grande dressed up as Nomi, and Gilles acted as Cristal.
The two, who are best friends from their “Victorious” days, even went as far as to re-create scenes from the movie, posting the cheeky scenes to Instagram.

In 2022, they channeled characters from the 2000 mockumentary “Best in Show,” taking to Instagram to show it off.
In their recreations, Grande dressed up as Jennifer Coolidge’s character, Sherri Ann, as well as roles played by Linda Kash and Eugene Levy.
Gillies played characters that were performed by Larry Miller, Catherine O’Hara, and Jane Lynch.
