Multiple reports of a security situation at the White House are emerging as videos show authorities swarming around a suspect in cuffs.
On Saturday, the U.S. Sun described the incident as a “security breach” caused by “a man demanding to talk to the president.” The Sun’s reporting also featured photos of an unidentified man in handcuffs being led away by police.
France24 reporter Fraser Jackson posted a video on X showing the minutes following “an incident outside the White House” after Secret Service and Park Police raced to the corner of 16th and H streets near Lafayette Park.
“A white car reportedly went on the sidewalk next to the security fence surrounding the compound,” wrote Jackson. “The man in this video is seemingly in handcuffs and being questioned.”
Independent journalist Ksenija Pavlovic McAteer posted a similar video.
