Bill Maher took yet another swipe at Taylor Swift’s love life while discussing the GOP’s staggering losses during the midterm elections.
“[Trump] lost the bros. The Bros, dude,” Maher said during Friday’s “Real Time” monologue, referencing President Donald Trump’s standing with male voters.
“Young white men,” he continued. “Huge swing, like 28 points. Taylor Swift hasn’t lost this many white guys.”
The talk show host, 70, elicited both groans and applause for the quip.

A rep for Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday afternoon.
Last week, Maher faced criticism for mentioning Swift in his monologue while recapping his most recent dinner with the president at the White House.
During the Oct. 30 episode, he said “eating with Trump is like dating Taylor Swift: It’s a lot of laughs at the time, but later on, they’re tearing you a new asshole.”
These jabs are just the latest public insults Maher has lobbed at the Grammy-winning hitmaker’s personal life in recent years

In March 2025, he again mentioned Swift during “Real Time.”
“This world is so upside down now. It took [President] Trump three weeks to break up with Ukraine and Mexico, and Canada,” he began.
“And yet, Taylor Swift has the same boyfriend for over a year,” he added, referencing Swift’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — whom she ultimately married in a star-studded extravaganza at NYC’s Madison Square Garden in July.
Prior to that, in July 2024, Maher scathingly predicted that the “Opalite” songstress — who had just begun dating the NFL star — would soon be jilted by him.
“He’s gonna dump her, though, you know that,” he told internet personality Haliey Welch during an episode of his “Club Random” podcast at the time.
“With her, it’s like the Gatorade at the Super Bowl, you know you’re gonna get dumped,” he continued. “You just don’t know when.”

Welch, however, didn’t see the downside. The viral “Hawk Tuah Girl” video star noted Swift’s penchant for creating hits from heartbreak.
“If he does that, can you imagine the next album we’re gonna get off of that?” she gushed.
“It won’t be ‘F–k John Mayer’ no more, it will be ‘F–k Travis,’” she said, referencing Swift’s breakup hit “Dear John” following her brief romance with the “Gravity” hitmaker between 2009 and 2010.
Swift is also known for dating “Hamnet” actor Joe Alwyn, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, One Direction alum Harry Styles, Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, “Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner and singer-songwriter Joe Jonas.
Over the years, the “Love Story” singer has defended her dating history by saying she was simply dating like a “normal person” and calling out the double standard that men aren’t criticized for their romantic pasts as frequently as women.
