Ex-ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle has returned to the U.S. after Donald Trump fired her, and insiders claim she is out for revenge.
According to the Daily Mail, “all bets are off” now that Guilfoyle has been officially cut loose.
“Kimberly has a lot of scores to settle,” an insider told the outlet.
Guilfoyle, 57, lost her post as U.S. ambassador to Greece last month amid a series of scandals. The one that finished her off involved a text message in which she appeared to ask Trump donor Eric Deters to cover a $100,000 American Express bill. Guilfoyle and her lawyer insisted the message “was created with AI” and that Deters actually owed her money. Deters has denied her account and filed a defamation suit.
The Daily Mail reported that the former Fox News host spent nearly three weeks “licking her wounds” at Jefferson House, the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Athens, before returning home on Oct. 30.
Her road to Greece ran through a breakup. The Daily Mail reported in September 2024 that Donald Trump Jr. was seeing socialite Bettina Anderson, now his wife, while still engaged to Guilfoyle. According to the outlet, a “smarting” Guilfoyle was then “hurriedly” offered the ambassadorship after Trump’s election, a move the Daily Mail described as “conveniently getting her out of Palm Beach, while also keeping her in the fold.”
“Kimberly loved getting job of ambassador to Greece,” a source said. “In a way, the role was made for her. But that didn’t diminish the agony of Don Jr’s betrayal – and what some considered her banishment out of country so he didn’t have to come face to face with her wrath.”
According to the insider, Deters is one target. “Exposing those texts was the ultimate humiliation. And no telling what she has in store for him.”
But the Daily Mail reported that Trump Jr. and Anderson “sit at the top of her list.” The outlet previously reported that Guilfoyle told friends she suspected Anderson of sending her own bikini photos to the publication, and that in June, sources said Guilfoyle had schemed with Anderson’s ex, William “Beau” Wrigley, to split up the newlyweds.
“She made it perfectly clear how little she thought of Bettina from the start,” a source said. A second source close to both former couples added, “Kimberly is determined not to be seen as a loser.”
The Daily Mail also reported that Guilfoyle has been “largely cast out of the MAGA inner circle,” and one insider suggested she resents the president for it.
“Kim can’t be too happy with the president for the cold-hearted dismissal and not having her back,” the insider said. “She devoted so much of herself to getting him re-elected. Where’s the gratitude? Where’s the loyalty?”
