They’re both pulling back time.
Ricki Lake, 58, claimed that her close friend, Rosie O’Donnell, 64, was “judgy” about her 2024 facelift— but changed her tune after she decided to get one for herself this year.
“She’s my really good friend — we talk all the time — and she was a little judgy. She would admit it,” Lake said about O’Donnell during this weekend’s episode of “The Weekend View.”

“She’s like, ‘Why do you need it? You don’t need it,’” Lake recalled.
However, after O’Donnell lost over 60 poundswith the help of GLP-1 Mounjaro, she decided to go under the knife, too.
“Then, sure enough, she lost a bunch of weight on Mounjaro, and she went and had it done, she looks phenomenal,” Lake said.
Page Six has contacted O’Donnell’s reps for comment.

O’Donnell had the cosmetic procedure done in January 2026, undergoing a deep-plane lift and neck rejuvenation. She also shared before-and-after photos on her Instagram page.
In a May 2026 post on Substack, the comedian admitted that she felt “shameful” about the decision, as the surgery “cost more money than [she has] ever paid for a car.”
“I thought it was a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide,” O’Donnell wrote at the time.

However, she admitted that it sometimes felt insincere to be completely against plastic surgery.
“And then I had this quiet realization … if I’m teaching [my child] anything, it can’t be that my body belongs to an idea either. Even a good idea. Even feminism,” she wrote.
She spoke about it further during a July interview with People, explaining that after losing so much weight, her face started to look “sad” due to excess skin.

“People in Ireland said, ‘Rosie, are you all right, love?’ I’m like, ‘It’s my face. I actually feel happy here.’ I didn’t want my face to be frozen. I had to wrestle with myself because as a feminist I always felt this is the male gaze and not anything I believe in,” O’Donnell told the outlet.
“[My child] said, ‘Mommy, girls look up to you. What does your legacy stand for if you do this?’ I changed my mind for six months and then decided the real power of feminism [is] to decide what we want to do with our bodies and when,” she said.
Meanwhile, Lake first revealed that she had gone under the knife for a deep plane lower face and neck lift in 2024, two years before O’Donnell did.

She had the procedure done by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Allen Foulad.
“Back in 2023, I had lost 40 lbs over the course of a year, and did not like the extra skin that hung from below my chin. It was never going to tighten up by itself,” Lake wrote in a July Instagram post celebrating her two-year plastic surgery anniversary.
“I took a leap of faith and I’m so grateful I did. I am also very glad to see so many people over these past couple of years opening up about their own plastic surgery journeys,” she added.
