A member of the audience at President Donald Trump’s rally in San Antonio on Wednesday pounced on a protester and pulled his hair, per videos.
Multiple protesters appeared to heckle Trump during his speech. While one of the protesters, a young man, appeared to head for the exit, an older man wearing a MAGA hat ran up behind him, grabbed him and started to pull his hair.
Other members of the MAGA crowd appeared alarmed, and some seemed to pull the two apart. The protester, who was holding his phone out while he walked through the crowd, briefly turned back to the man who yanked at him before continuing to leave.
MeidasTouch digital video editor Acyn Torabi posted multiple clips from C-SPAN’s coverage of the event, and described the scene as the protester getting “assaulted by a member of the crowd.”
The MeidasTouch account agreed, writing, “That’s assault.” MeidasTouch editor Pablo Manriquez chimed in, “MAGA so fragile.”
