President Donald Trump vowed to “stop watching” Fox News on Sunday in response to the network’s lack of coverage of his Ohio rally Saturday night, warning that the conservative network could go “out of business” should it continue on its current trajectory.
“It’s the old undercurrent at FoxNews! Other networks are reporting about these Rallies, and really positively, like ‘crazy!’ Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!),” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
“Who makes these decisions at FoxNews? Probably the same loser that fired the great Maria Bartiromo because she complained about not being allowed to cover ‘TRUMP.’”
Trump specifically attacked Fox News for not adequately covering his rally on “Fox & Friends” Sunday morning, and went on to argue that, should the network continue to inadequately cover his events, it could very well find itself in financial trouble.
“Cover our ‘happenings,’ and not the opposition to Greatness for America, or FoxNews will soon have the ratings of FAKE NEWS CNN or MSNOW (MSDNC),” Trump continued. “Remember, Fox tried this act once before, and almost went out of business (and always right before an election!). That can happen again!”
