The happiest place on earth could soon get pricier.
For years, both Disneyland and Disney World have raised prices at the beginning of October, coinciding with the start of Disney’s fiscal year. As the month looms, fans are expecting yet another hike.
The last three increases took place on October 11, 2023, October 9, 2024 and October 8, 2025.
Popular Disney blog MousePlanet predicts the price increase will come on October 7 this year, while MikceyVisit says October 6 is a possibility.
Fans who want to have money on tickets should buy now, according to MousePlanet.
“What this means is that now is a really good time to plan your next Disneyland visit and get your tickets sorted if possible,” the outlet wrote. “Every year we see vacation planners scramble in the days after a price hike to find tickets at the old prices.”
One-day passes for Disneyland are currently going for $104 to $224 on Disney’s website. One-day tickets purchased today through Disneyland’s website or app are valid through December 2027, while multi-day tickets purchased today must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2028.
Ticket prices for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure increased an average of 3.3% in 2025, according to the Orange County Register.
Last year, Disneyland raised prices for their most expensive tickets to $224 for a single day, single park ticket and $314 for a parkhopper ticket.
The cheapest single day, single park ticket has been $104 since 2019, while the cheapest one-day parkhopper ticket increased to $174 in 2025.
“Disney parks offer a full day of experiences each day with ticket, hotel and dining options designed to suit a wide range of needs and budgets for all who visit,”a Disneyland spokesperson said after last year’s price hikes. “Our commitment to creating magical experiences for everyone remains at the heart of what we do — and that will never change.”
Even so, price increases are showing up elsewhere in the park, too.
The most magical place in California has also been quietly increasing prices on more than 800 menu items across 178 dining locations in both parks and the resort hotels.
With an average increase of 8%, popular staples such as churros, funnel cakes, Mickey beignets and Dasani water are all getting more expensive. Some of the steepest hikes hit the bean-and-cheese burrito and wedge salad, each of which rose by more than $3.
The increases have sparked frustration among fans, with one X user lamenting that “Disney should be ashamed of themselves.”
Some have sought cheaper alternatives as a result.
“There’s a Blaze Pizza across the street,” one person wrote, while another said the prices had reached “the point of packing lunches again.”
