Taylor Frankie Paul details explosive fight with ex Dakota Mortensen before ‘SLOMW’ production shut down

Taylor Frankie Paul told her “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-stars about her explosive fight with Dakota Mortensen in the closing moments of Season 5 — before the Hulu show shut down production.

While the rest of the girls gather at Jen Affleck’s house, Paul calls them and explains she wasn’t filming anymore because of “a mess” involving Mortensen, whom she calls “f–king insane.”

The 32-year-old claims Mortensen — with whom she shares 2-year-old son Ever — “had a friend call CPS” after they got into another fight.

“He told some freaking lies. He said we were on the highway and we were fighting and I turned around to scream at Ever in his face, and then I punched myself to make it look like he punched me,” Paul claimed.

The Hulu star insisted her young son “was never in the car” and that she has cameras to prove it.

“I guess his friend called CPS and was like, ‘Taylor’s abusive. She does things to Ever,’” Paul continued, claiming that when CPS called her, she told them they can come over because she’s “not afraid” and has “never touched my child in my f—king life.”

After the other girls expressed concern for Paul, she said Mortensen “is the poison in my life” and promised to finally tell her side of the story to expose his behavior.

“Dakota, if you think I’m an abusive, crazy bitch, then why the f–k am I taking care of our son all the time?” she said to her co-stars.

Paul also noted that the timing of Mortensen’s actions is “impeccable” since her “The Bachelorette” season was about to air.

After the conversation ends, the show displayed a message that read, “Following Taylor’s phone call. Production was paused.”

The episode fast-forwarded to three months later, with all the women — except Paul — filming confessionals where they react to their co-star’s “Bachelorette” season being cancelled.

Earlier in the season, Paul admitted that she cheated on her “Bachelorette” winner, Doug Mason, with Mortensen after filming the ABC show.

Paul also clashed with the other MomTok members after they said Mason is inauthentic and similar to Mortensen, 33.

As Page Six previously reported, Season 5 of “SLOMW” was put on pause in March following a domestic abuse investigation into Paul and Mortensen.

Shortly after, Paul’s planned “Bachelorette” season was pulled by ABC after a disturbing video was leaked showing a 2023 domestic violence incident between the exes.

It was later revealed that Paul was under a third domestic violence investigation being led by the West Jordan Police Department in addition to the two investigations being pursued by Draper Police in Utah.

The most recent charges against Paul have been dropped, but she remains embroiled in a heated custody battle with Mortensen after he petitioned the courts for an order of protection against her.

Earlier this month, Page Six confirmed Paul — who briefly checked herself into rehab in June — will return for “SLOMW” Season 6.

Insiders said Paul, who “has been working on herself” while “dealing with personal issues,” has ABC and Disney’s full support to come back to the show.

“It’s been a very open line of communication with ABC, and they’ve been supportive throughout this process,” the source shared.
