ABC backs Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season 6 return to ‘SLOMW’ after canceled ‘Bachelorette’ season

Redemption is in the script over at Disney and ABC.

After canceling Season 22 of the “Bachelorette”last March over domestic abuse allegations, Taylor Frankie Paul is getting a second chance with “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Page Six has learned.

We’ve confirmed Paul will officially return for Season 6 of the Hulu reality series with the full support of ABC and Disney.

“ABC’s been great. They have total faith throughout. It’s been a very open line of communication with ABC, and they’ve been supportive throughout this process,” an insider told Page Six.

Another insider explained Paul “has been working on herself” and “dealing with personal issues” since her 2023 arrest for domestic violence.

In March of this year, video of the alleged incident surfaced, showing her hurling metal stools across the room at her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in front of her daughter, Indy, who is now 8.

She temporarily lost custody of their son, Ever, 2and ABC subsequently canceled her season of “The Bachelorette,” in which she was set to make her debut on the network’s hit show.

Season 5 of “SLOMW” was also put on pause, but will now premiere on Sept. 10, with Paul featured in the trailer. She teased she’d return for season six in July, replying, “Yes,” to a fan who inquired about her Season 6 return on social media.

Network insiders, however, told us she learned she was invited back on Tuesday.

The reality star — who shares son Ever with Mortensen and her two older children Indy and Ocean, 6, with ex Tate Paul — has been locked in multiple custody battles with her exes.

In July, she declined both of their proposals that would only grant her 40 percent of child custody, with a source telling Page Six she will continue to fight for her kids.

Meanwhile, she celebrated finishing probation following her 2023 arrest last month, writing on Instagram: “Three years probation complete.”

“All my PO’s said it was one of the longest probations they had seen for first time offense,” she wrote. “Back then I wasn’t even aware of what DV was. Unfortunately many will experience it as many already have.”

She added she doesn’t care if people see her as “the villain or victim” and described what led to her situation as “hell on earth.”

“I don’t care if you see me as the villain or victim. This all surfacing the way it viciously and vindictively did, has been hell on earth and if I didn’t have the support I have I don’t think I would have made it through,” she wrote.

“However those same people not only get to see they failed to destroy me, but they freed me,” she continued.

A source close to Paul revealed she’s been in therapy and said, she’s “doing the best she can in the midst of all the hardships she’s going through… She’s had a handful of people who carried her through, including her family, friends and producers of the show.”

We’re told there’s still “a lot of hurt” within the “Mormon cast” and Paul “doesn’t necessarily feel like she’s been supported by the women throughout the last few months,” the insider said.

A rep for Paul and Disney did not comment, but the drama will inevitably play out on the show.
