Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 has officially launched, but the Persona 5 collab is still missing in action. Here is when Persona is reportedly coming to Fortnite, according to leaks, and when players could finally get the new Joker skin.
When Will Joker Be in Fortnite? Persona 5 Collab Release Date
When Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 was first announced, one of the first Gaming Legends teasers released by Epic Games featured Persona 5. In fact, the official Fortnite Override key art even included Joker as one of the major crossover skins coming this season. However, despite Chapter 7 Season 4 now being live, the Persona Fortnite crossover is still not in the game.
According to dataminers, the Persona Fortnite collab will not be released until September 2026. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact release date for when the Joker skin will go live, as only the crossover’s release window has reportedly leaked online. So, players waiting for Persona 5 to arrive in Fortnite Override are going to have to be patient a little while longer.
However, on the plus side, it appears the Persona Fortnite collab could be much bigger than we initially expected. If the datamine leaks are accurate, Fortnite is about to get multiple Persona 5 skins, as well as a potential Sidekick and vehicle that will make fans of the Atlus RPG lose their minds.
Persona 5 Fortnite Collab Skins and Cosmetics Leaked
According to leaks, the Persona Fortnite crossover will feature multiple characters from Persona 5. While we do not have a confirmed list yet, fellow Phantom Thieves Ryuji Sakamoto and Ann Takamaki are rumored to be included.
Here is everything reportedly coming in the Fortnite Persona collab when it releases in September:
- Joker skin
- Additional Phantom Thieves skins, with Ryuji and Ann rumored
- Morgana as either a Sidekick or Back Bling
- Morganamobile or Mona Bus vehicle for Battle Royale and Rocket League
Yes, you read that right. Based on datamine reports, we could get the iconic Mona Bus as a vehicle in Battle Royale. Speaking of Morgana, it’s currently unclear whether the Persona 5 mascot will be a Back Bling or Sidekick.
In the official Fortnite Override promotional poster, we can actually see Morgana sitting next to Jonesy at the computer. However, given his size, it’s difficult to tell whether he is meant to be a Sidekick or another cosmetic item. To be fair, Morgana is pretty small even in Persona 5, so it could go either way.
Regardless, it appears the Persona Fortnite collab will not be released in August. With rumors claiming the Joker crossover will also feature additional Persona 5 characters, now is the time to start saving those V-Bucks for when it reportedly drops in September.
