‘Minions and Monsters’ is now available to stream at home — Here’s how to watch

The Minions are taking Hollywood by storm in their latest outing.

The third “Minions” movie, titled “Minions & Monsters,” is now available to stream on-demand from platforms like Prime Video.

Far from the world of Gru and “Despicable Me,” “Minions & Monsters” follows a new tribe of the little yellow guys as they traverse the world searching for new evil masters to serve. The Minions’ journey takes them to Hollywood in the 1920s as they become major movie stars in silent films.

When talking pictures take over the industry and the Minions are cast out (due to their lack of English language skills — these Minions still speak Minionese), three Minions aim to continue making movies of their own and plan to produce “Minions y Monstras,” a classic monster flick.

“Minions & Monsters” is a true love letter to Old Hollywood, jam-packed with references both obvious and obscure, making it as much of a treat for adults as it is for kids.

The Post’s entertainment critic, Johnny Oleksinski, calls it in his 3.5 (of 4) star review “one of the best odes to Old Hollywood in a long time.”

When is ‘Minions & Monsters’ coming to streaming? Where can I stream ‘Minions & Monsters’?

“Minions & Monsters” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! The “Minions & Monsters” digital release date is today, Aug. 11.

How to watch ‘Minions & Monsters’

“Minions & Monsters” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $29.99 to buy or $24.99 to rent.

While you don’t have to be an Amazon Prime member to buy “Minions & Monsters,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “Hoppers” whenever you want to.

If you choose the rental option, you’ll have 30 days to begin watching the movie and 48 hours of access once you’ve pressed play.

‘Minions & Monsters’ DVD, Blu-ray and 4K release date

While you can stream “Minions & Monsters” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally because there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access.

Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

Illumination has confirmed a Sept. 8 release date for the 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD of “Minions & Monsters” and you can pre-order a copy now.
