An armed man was arrested outside of a Trump golf course in Southern California days before he was scheduled to visit, per reports.
According to reporting by CNN, the man was arrested by federal agents on Sunday, but the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported it via a statement on Tuesday. The arrest took place outside of Trump National Golf Club in Southern California, as Trump was scheduled to visit Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Fox News identified the suspect as Jeanine John Taele, 38, and reported that police recovered an illegally modified AR-style rifle along with body armor, high-capacity magazines, ammunition, and notebooks with “concerning statements” from his home.
According to CNN, federal agents were alerted by a suspicious person walking the property.
