President Donald Trump alarmed observers Sunday by posting more than 40 AI-generated images on Truth Social over multiple hours.
The images depicted Trump standing atop an Iranian oil tanker declaring “It is our oil tanker now!” and late-night comedians who recently angered the president panhandling on a sidewalk.
Trump also posted another jab at Rosie O’Donnell, continuing their nearly two-decade feud.
The posting spree occurred the same day reporters photographed Trump playing golf and inspecting White House renovations.
Political analysts expressed serious concern about the behavior.
Democratic influencer Harry Sisson wrote, “Trump is having a mental health episode on social media right now,” and added, “He’s insane. 25th Amendment NOW.”
HuffPost’s S.V. Dáte posted, “If anyone still believes our president is not an unhinged sociopath, please check out his fake Twitter feed from this afternoon.”
Vance Wilson, a liberal political commentator, wrote, “A man who posts this ‘joke’ this many times is not joking. This is pure delusion.”
“I am confident he will try to find some way to run in 2028. He may not succeed at the Supreme Court, but I am nearly certain he doesn’t see this as a ‘joke.’”
