Venezuelan earthquake survivor, 10, asked for a Cristiano Ronaldo sticker after losing his leg — and got much more

A Venezuelan boy who lost his parents and older brother in the devastating earthquakes had just one wish — a Cristiano Ronaldo sticker.

He got a heartfelt video message from the soccer legend himself instead.

Andrés Mieles, 10, who remains hospitalized after he had his right leg amputated, hit the jackpot Friday when the Portugal superstar sent him the personal message — and an invitation to watch him play live.

“Hi Andrés, how are you? I’m making this video to send you a big hug,” Ronaldo said a day after he helped his national team advance to the World Cup Round of 16 with a thrilling victory over Croatia in Toronto.

“I know you’re a huge fan. Once you’re feeling better, I’d like to invite you to watch one of my matches and just enjoy the game. Sound good?”

Ronaldo added: “I’d love to meet you. All the best, my friend.”

Mieles was rescued moments after the June 24 twin earthquakes destroyed his home in La Guaira and killed his family.

While lying on his hospital bed last weekend, Mieles was recorded saying that he wanted the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s sticker that is among the 980 that are required to complete the 2026 Panini World Cup album.

His story touched the hearts of well-wishers, including a Real Madrid official, who reached out to Ronaldo, who played nine seasons for Los Blancos, and relayed the soccer star’s video message to Venezuelan musician Armando Poyo.

Poyo visited the hospital with renowned chef José Andrés on Friday to present the video to Mieles as well as other gifts.

Poyo revealed on social media on Saturday that Ronaldo had also shipped Mieles a signed jersey.
