Ariana Grande makes ‘unfortunate’ announcement regarding ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour: ‘So sorry’

Ariana Grande is rescheduling three of her upcoming shows for her “Eternal Sunshine” tour.

The singer announced Monday that she’s moving her July 12 show at New York’s Barclays Center to July 14, and also rescheduling the dates for two of her concerts at Boston’s TD Garden. The two shows originally scheduled for July 22 and July 24 will now be on July 23 and July 26, respectively.

Grande explained in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories that she’s rescheduling due to production issues — specifically so that the full production of her show can be “delivered safely and as intended.”

“We are so sorry for these unfortunate scheduling changes,” she wrote. “This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention.”

“The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run,” she continued. “Thank you so much for your understanding and I cannot wait to see you.”

All tickets will be honored for the new dates.

Grande, 33, kicked off her highly anticipated tour in support of her seventh album, “Eternal Sunshine,” on June 6 in Oakland, California. She’s scheduled to perform across the US, and also has dates in Canada and London.

“This is so overwhelming in the most beautiful way ever,” she emotionally said, as the audience clapped for her at her show at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
