TIME today announced a partnership with Chris & Ally Corp., a Korean media company, to launch TIME Korea. Notably, Chris & Ally Corp. becomes TIME’s first licensing partner in Asia, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s regional expansion.
TIME Korea, a premium platform for the leaders who are shaping the future of global business, culture, and technology, will launch its official website (korea.time.com) this Summer, followed by the debut of its monthly print magazine this Fall.
Jessica Sibley, Chief Executive Officer of TIME, said, “For more than a century, TIME has delivered trusted journalism and thoughtful perspectives to readers around the world. South Korea is a dynamic global hub driving innovation, culture, and business. We are delighted to reach new audiences through the launch of TIME Korea and to share the stories of Korea’s visionaries and changemakers with the world with our partners Chris & Ally Corp.”
Chris Boohyeok Yoo, CEO and Publisher of Chris & Ally Corp., said, “It is an honor to introduce TIME to Korea, the first Asian market to welcome the brand after 103 years of TIME shaping the global agenda. By combining TIME’s global heritage with Seoul’s creativity, we aim to build a media ecosystem where content, education, brands, and community reinforce one another in a virtuous cycle.”
Yoo added, “TIME Korea will be more than a media outlet. It will serve as a premium insight platform that addresses key issues in our society as well as major global agendas in depth. Grounded in trusted journalism, it will capture the movements of our time and combine them with business insights from Korea’s leading sectors to provide inspiration and a platform for exchange for leaders shaping the future.”
The launch of TIME Korea comes at a time of continued international expansion for TIME, as the brand strengthens its presence in key markets around the world, with the recent launches of TIME France, TIME Africa and TIME Canada. Today, TIME reaches more than 100 million people globally across its platforms, its most diverse audience in history. Through award-winning journalism and renowned franchises including TIME100, TIME100 Next, TIME100 AI, TIME100 Climate and TIME100 Companies, TIME continues to spotlight the individuals and ideas shaping the future.
Over the years, TIME has covered the global K-culture phenomenon and Korea’s dynamic economic development in depth. Highlighting this continued focus on Korea’s innovators and artists, Blackpink’s Jennie was named to the recent TIME100, and beauty-tech company APR was included in the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list in 2026. Building on this momentum, TIME Korea will more systematically and sustainably spotlight Korea’s leaders, brands, and the next generation of stories shaping the future.
