A former U.S. government worker engaged in a heated shouting match with Russian “Merchant of Death” arms dealer, Viktor Bout, during an appearance on The Alex Jones Show.
The caller from Kansas, identified as Lee, confronted Bout about Russia’s four-year war in Ukraine, questioning when Russian leadership would pressure Vladimir Putin to end the conflict and withdraw troops from Ukrainian territory.
Bout, now a Russian legislator, defended the invasion, claiming Donbas is “Russian land” and denied that Russia started the war.
Host Alex Jones interjected to defend Russia’s actions, arguing NATO expansion provoked Russian military responses. The caller then countered that Russia illegally invaded in 2014 and has lost the war.
Bout rejected this assessment, insisting Russia would never abandon what he characterized as Russian territory and people. Jones concluded by criticizing NATO expansion and suggesting improved U.S. and Russia relations.
