Ice Spice makes shocking career move after being slapped by customer in McDonald’s

Ice Spice is turning pain into profit.

The “Deli” rapper, 26, starred in a new ad for McDonald’s competitor Wendy’s after she was slapped by a customer in Mickey D’s.

In the humorous ad, Ice Spice — born Isis Gaston — promoted Wendy’s new spicy chicken sandwich and played on her rap name, changing it to “Ice Spicy.”

“I heard Wendy’s upgraded their OG chicken sandwich. New spicy?” she said in the commercial before daydreaming about different scenarios, including getting a neck tattoo reading, “Ice Spicy.”

“Spice recognize spice,” she later joked.

Fans commented on the commercial in light of her recent McDonald’s beef.

“She said she never going to mcdonald’s again and got a deal with wendys 😂😂😂 she ate that,” one fan wrote.

Another fan praised, “This is how fast companies should move👏👏👏.”

In a shocking video released last month by TMZ, Ice Spice got into a physical fight with a woman at a Los Angeles McDonald’s.

As the four-time Grammy nominee ate with a friend, a customer jogged up to Ice Spice at their table.

The woman tried to strike up a conversation, though the “Munch” emcee and her companion didn’t appear interested. At one point, Ice Spice pointed at the door, seemingly telling the stranger to leave.

The woman then slapped the Bronx native in the face and a fight broke out between the two that eventually spilled out into the street.

Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, told Page Six of the incident, “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly.

“We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security,” he concluded.

The “Barbie World” rapper later made light of the altercation, joking on X, “This wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s.”

Ice Spice also has a personal connection to the fast food chain, known for the fresh, never-frozen beef. Before her music career took off with her 2023 hit “Munch,” Ice Spice used to work at the fast food chain.

“There would be really annoying workers and characters,” she recalled during her 2025 appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“[But] I would low-key appreciate them,” the “Princess Diana” hitmaker added. “But, like, low-key, though.”
