A very contentious series continues as the Boston Celtics head home with a 3-1 lead over the young Orlando Magic. The teams split two games in Orlando, with the Magic winning Game 3 and the Celtics winning Game 4.

Boston continues to fight through bumps and bruises to take care of business, winning Game 4 107-98 over a plucky Magic squad. Jayson Tatum played with a bruised wrist, but you wouldn’t have known it, as he scored 37 points with 14 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Jaylen Brown added 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Kristaps Porzingis battled foul trouble but scored 18 in just 22 minutes of action. Boston put the game away in the fourth quarter by making all 14 of their free-throw attempts (9-for-9 by Tatum).
The Magic leaned heavily on their young stars in Game 4, getting 55 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists from Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, but they shot just 22-for-54 and couldn’t stop Tatum in the fourth quarter, as he scored 16 in the frame. A Wendell Carter Jr. basket with 4:18 left in the game tied it at 91-91, but the Celtics showed their championship mettle and the Magic their inexperience as Boston outscored Orlando 16-7 to end the game.
