Eminem fans hold his music extremely dear to their hearts. Separate from some of his darker, more absurdist rapping, he’s never been afraid to get personal and candid in his work. Many of his most diehard listeners have frequently cited him as helping them get through tough times. For one fan, that relationship was taken to another level after he made a personal imprint on their lives.
A fan on X shared an autographed vinyl copy of the 8 Mile soundtrack. But Slim Shady himself added a personal note that was particularly heartfelt after his brother-in-law ensured it went specialized to him. “To Keith, Keep your head up!!” Eminem signed.
The message was simple, but effective and it clearly resonated with the fan. “Miracles do come true!! My brother in law pulled off a dream of mine to get an @Eminem autograph personalized to me. Words can’t explain what this means to me. Thank you EM for the the well wishes,” they wrote in the caption.
A quick glance through the fan’s feed shows that they’re battling cancer, necessitating chemotherapy. Amidst these battles, they’ll post themselves wearing Em’s merch or sharing general support for the Detroit MC.

Surely, that fan was happy to learn that Em is hard at work on his next album, according to 50 Cent. During the press tour for the new Street Fighter film, 50 revealed that he was collaborating with him on some potential records for the movie. However, that creative spark fizzled out. Instead, he teased that Eminem was busy crafting his next album.
Perhaps part of why he hasn’t released more music is because one of his former employees leaked over two dozen songs. Not only was it a fireable offense, but it was profound betrayal of trust considering he’d worked under Marshall Mathers for 14 years. Consequently, he might face up to five years in prison for the offense.
“At some point Strange—without authority—copied 10 or more audio files of music and material in various stages of development from one or more of these drives,” the DOJ stated. “Between July and August of 2024, Strange sold and transmitted ten or more of these music files to purchasers via the internet for a total of approximately $50,000. Strange did so without Mathers’s knowledge or authorization.”
