Sahara Ray’s body has been released to her family following her death, Page Six can confirm.
An autopsy has been performed, and an official cause of death is still pending.
The Australian model and swimwear designer — who previously dated Justin Bieber and Mod Sun — died in Los Angeles on Oct. 18 following a suspected fentanyl overdose. She was 34.
An insider told the Daily Mail that Ray was transported to a local hospital and put on life support following the alleged incident.
Her family reportedly made the excruciating decision to take her off life support the same day, a source told the outlet.

The influencer welcomed daughter Snow — her first child, whom she once called her “whole heart” — in January with Michael Bradley Dow.
She was the daughter of surf icon Tony Ray and Gretchen Gia Bach.
Bach memorialized her daughter in a heartbreaking Instagram post following her death, writing, “Laying on top of an Airbnb bed somewhere in LA at 1 AM wearing Sahara’s clothes and sobbing as I read and repost the love letters and tributes to my first born daughter.”
Meanwhile, sister Ruby Ray called her older sister a “force of nature” in an emotional tribute.

“The most vivacious, intelligent, hilarious, kind, empathetic and breathtakingly beautiful soul,” Ruby wrote in part. “A light so bright that this world feels impossibly dimmer without her in it.”
“Sahara has moved from this life into another, and I am left trying to comprehend how someone so full of life can no longer be here to live it,” she continued.
“She was, to me, the most incredible person to ever walk this earth.”
A close friend, Jessica Serfaty, later told Page Six that the influencer had battled personal issues in the years leading up to her death.

“Sahara had been struggling with her mental health in recent years, and it was heartbreaking to witness someone we loved so deeply experience so much pain,” Serfaty told us earlier this month.
Ray was “beginning an entirely new chapter of her life” after welcoming her infant daughter, Serfaty explained.
“I think it’s important to remember that someone’s life can hold extraordinary beauty and profound pain at the same time,” the “Days of Our Lives” alum said. “One doesn’t necessarily erase the other.”
Serfaty said her late friend “was so much more than the difficult chapters of her life.” Ray, she recalled, was full of “laughter, adventure, mischief, tenderness, and magic.”
