Woody Guthrie was a folk singer and songwriter. Jeff Tweedy is the founder and leader of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Wilco, which collaborated with Billy Bragg on “Mermaid Avenue,” a slate of songs created with previously unheard lyrics by Guthrie.
