Disneyland is coming to “Fortnite.”
For a limited time, beginning Thursday, players can play mini games inspired by the resort’s most popular rides, like Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Matterhorn Bobsleds, in the “Fortnite” sandbox for the first time.
The island will also feature a replica of the 70th anniversary sculpture, inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as familiar theme park landmarks, including Sleeping Beauty Castle, Pixar Pal-A-Round, and Incredicoaster.
The experience is a part of Disneyland’s ongoing 70th anniversary celebration.
Gamers who complete the mini games will collect keys that can be used to unlock one of seven gold cosmetic items that are exclusive to the island.
“Fortnite” players can access the island by searching for Disneyland Game Rush or using the island code 4617-4819-8826. “Fortnite” is free to download on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
In 2024, the Walt Disney Co. acquired a stake in Epic Games, the developers behind Fortnite.
In addition to “Disneyland Game Rush,” Fortnite launched “Galactic Battle,” billed as its biggest Star Wars-themed tie-in, as well as a “Simpsons”-themed battle royale mini-season.
