He’s a champagne socialist!
Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani reportedly enlisted the help of a celebrity-loved fashion stylist for his victorious election campaign.
The 34-year-old Democratic socialist took fashion tips from stylist Bailey Moon as he rallied voters throughout the Big Apple during his whirlwind mayoral campaign, Puck reported.

Mamdani’s artist wife, Rama Duwaji, 28, also took advice — despite largely staying out of the campaign spotlight, the outlet reported.
It wasn’t clear how much Mamdani — who galvanized voters with promises of making New York City affordable — paid for Moon’s services, or who paid.

The stylist is said to count actors Diane Lane, Pamela Anderson, Morgan Spector and Rebecca Hall among his clients.
He has also worked with former First Lady Jill Biden and 2024 Democratic vice presidential candidate, Gov. Tim Walz.

Mamdani, who makes $142,000 a year in his current gig as a Queens state assemblyman, donned some form of suit and tie combo almost every day on the campaign trail.
His election victory party was no exception.

The city’s soon-to-be first lady donned a black square-necked piece by Zeid Hijazi, a Palestinian-Jordanian designer.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the couple intended to work with a stylist going forward.
