An investigation is underway after two teen girls were hospitalized after a stabbing attack in Port Hueneme.

On Nov. 1, police responded to reports of a stabbing on the 1100 block of N. 6th Place at around 9:40 p.m. Minutes later, police dispatch received a call that a second teen girl had also been stabbed nearby.

The two attackers were described as a Hispanic girl and a Hispanic boy, both believed to be around 15 years old, Port Hueneme police said.

Following an investigation, police said the stabbings stemmed from a fight that occurred at a nearby house party.

The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. Both victims were transported to the hospital and remain in stable condition.

No further details, including the circumstances surrounding the stabbing or whether the suspects and victims were known to each other, were released.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective Sergeant Mike at 805-986-6541 or email [email protected].

Anonymous tips can be reported by calling Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or by visiting venturacountycrimestoppers.org.
