Federal agents were seen staging at the Dodger Stadium parking lot Tuesday morning, one day after the team celebrated their back-to-back championships with thousands of fans in downtown L.A. and at Dodger Stadium.

As first reported by the Los Angeles Times, agents in unmarked vehicles were seen in parking lot 13, located just outside stadium property next to the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center, which is used by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The agents left shortly before 10 a.m.

KTLA reached out to the Department of Homeland Security and the Dodgers for a comment but didn’t receive one in time for publication.

In June, federal agents were also seen at Dodger Stadium, prompting widespread speculation and criticism from fans, many of whom questioned the agents’ presence at the stadium.

At the time, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security shared why agents were in the area.

“This had nothing to do with the Dodgers. CBP vehicles were in the stadium parking lot very briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement,” the department posted on X.

However, NewsNation reporter Ali Bradley shared more insight into the situation on X.

“CBP teams went to Hollywood Home Depot to make apprehensions. They did; they were going to transfer them to transport vans off Sunset Boulevard, but when things escalated outside Home Depot, they went to an open parking lot at Dodger Stadium to make the consolidated transfer. Agents say no one came over and told them to leave.”

After receiving criticism for initially staying silent about immigration raids that took place across Southern California over the summer, the team later announced a $1 million commitment to support immigrant families affected by federal immigration raids.
