PHOENIX — Dozens of voting locations opened across metro Phoenix on Tuesday, the last day for ballots to be cast in Arizona’s 2025 jurisdictional elections.

Election Day ballot replacement site and drop box operations began at 6 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.

Voters have had nearly a month to cast their ballots in this all-mail election. But if they haven’t yet done so, they can drop off their completed ballots in person by the closing time.

It’s too late to send ballots back through the mail because if they arrive after the deadline they don’t get counted.

How to find an Election Day voting site in Maricopa County

The county sent ballots to all eligible voters on Oct. 8. Voters who need replacement ballots can get them printed out at any site designated for in-person voting and fill them out there.

The full list of Election Day locations, with estimated wait times, can be found at Locations.Maricopa.Vote.

Voters who sign up for ballot status updates by texting JOIN to 628-683 or visiting BeBallotReady.Vote can receive notifications when their ballots have been received and counted.

The first batch of results will be released at 8 p.m. Tuesday, and additional results will be made available as they are processed.

What’s on the ballots for Maricopa County’s jurisdictional elections?

The Maricopa County ballots differ by voter residence, but all of them include the Proposition 409 health care bond item.

Five Valley cities — Apache Junction, Avondale, Chandler, Glendale and Mesa — have ballot questions for their residents.

In addition, the following 21 school/education districts and three fire/medical districts have bond, override or real estate sales items on the ballots for voters who live within their boundaries.
