EXCLUSIVE: British-Asian actor Raj Ghatak has signed with Alta Global Media for international management.
Currently appearing on stage in Mel Brook’s The Producers in the West End, Ghatak has credits across theater, TV and film. His role as the flamboyant Carmen Ghia in the London revival was personally approved by Brooks.
Ghatak also played the lead in the UK theatrical production of The Kite Runner, while on the TV side he was a series regular on Charlie Brooker’s Big Brother zombie satire for E4, Dead Set, and appeared in Tom Hardy-starring BBC drama Taboo.
He also has credits for BBC soap Doctors, Disney’s Christopher Robin and was the lead in A.R. Rahman’s Bombay Dreams stage musical, which Andrew Lloyd Webber produced. Other stage credits including Life of Pi, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and The Father and the Assassin.
