EXCLUSIVE: Anthony Mackie, Pablo Schreiber and Ben Foster are boarding the Corey Large produced thriller Raven.

Ron Livingston and Hassie Harrison are also starring in the movie which Tom Sierchio (Gasoline Alley, The Girl Who Invented Kissing) is directing from his own script. Cameras roll this autumn.

Raven follows Fay Darrow (Schreiber), a former Detroit cop turned hitman for the New Jersey mob, who is ready to walk away from a life of violence. But when his final job goes sideways, a volatile mob underling with something to prove (Mackie) and a ruthless enforcer known as the Taxman (Foster) are sent to kill him. Fay survives only for the mob’s retaliation to take his girlfriend and destroy his chance at a new life. With nothing left to lose, he launches a brutal campaign of revenge.

Jamie R. Thompson (Old Henry, Street Smart) will also produce alongside International Film Trust Co-Founder and Benaroya Pictures CEO, Michael Benaroya (Lawless, Margin Call).

Dublin-based Playhouse Studios will finance alongside Pink 308 and Kyle Fox and Dan Reardon of Newstar Financing. Playhouse Co-Founder & Co-CEO Lorcan Kavanagh and Omar Collins will serve as EPs for Playhouse. Gordon Bijelonic, Alfredo Chang, Jordan Nott, Lisa Didario, George Zakk, and Farid Vaziri will also executive produce. International Film Trust (IFT) is representing worldwide rights and Sales President, Christian de Gallegos, will be introducing the package to distributors at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM) in Century City, CA.

Mackie recently starred in the $415M-plus grossing Captain America: Brave New World. He made his Marvel debut as Sam Wilson/The Falcon in the Russo Brothers’ Captain America: Winter Soldier. His feature credits include Million Dollar Baby, The Hurt Locker, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He went on to play Wilson in the Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He starred on the Peacock series Twisted Metal, and will be seen next in John Lee Hancock’s legal drama feature, Monsanto opposite Glen Powell and Laura. Dern. Mackie recently wrapped production on Apple’s new contemporary international heist series 12 12 12 opposite in which he stars and executive produces. Mackie will be making his directorial debut with the film Spark starring Saniyya Sidney. The film will tell the often forgotten story of Claudette Colvin, a pioneer of the civil rights movement at just 15 years old. The actor is repped by UTA and Inspire Entertainment.

Schreiber was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in the Broadway revival of Clifford Odets’ Awake and Sing! opposite Mark Ruffalo and directed by Bartlett Sher. He was also nominated for an Emmy award for his performance as corrections officer George “Pornstache” Mendez in the Netflix hit series Orange is the New Black. He starred in the gangster silent noir Motor City which world premiered at Venice and played TIFF, that pic also starring Alan Ritchson, Ben Foster, and Shailene Woodley. He will next be seen in The Savant opposite Jessica Chastain for Apple+ and His & Hers opposite Tessa Thompson for Netflix. His films include First Man, Skyscraper, 13 Hours, Den of Thieves and starred in the Hulu true crime series Candy opposite Jessica Biel and Melanie Lynskey, the Apple+ limited Defending Jacob opposite Chris Evans; the HBO comedy series The Brink, opposite Jack Black and Tim Robbins; as the foul-mouthed, out-of-luck leprechaun Mad Sweeney in American Gods; and as “Nick Sobotka” on HBO’s critically acclaimed series The Wire. He recently starred as “Master Chief” in the Paramount+ hit series Halo, based on the global megahit video game franchise. Schreiber is repped by Gersh and Circle Management + Production.

Foster recently did double duty at TIFF with Motor City and the upcoming Christy, the first theatrical distributed release from financier Black Bear. His feature credits include Hell or High Water, Alpha Dog, Emancipation, Finestkind, 3:10 to Yuma, Lone Survivor among many others. The actor is represented by Range Media Partners and Felker Toczek Suddleson McGinnis Ryan LLP.

Livingston is repped by UTA, Thruline, Hanson Jacobson Teller, etc. Harrison is repped by Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
