A deranged Michigan father allegedly threatened to shoot up an elementary school after his kid wasn’t given a treat during snack time, authorities said.

David Scott Jr., 43, was cuffed Wednesday after hurling deadly threats at his child’s first-grade teacher in front of parents, students, and staff during dismissal outside Pleasantview Elementary School in Eastpointe, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office.

The dad told the educator he would return the next day to “air the place out” — which is violent slang for a shooting or mass violence threat, Eastpointe Police Lt. Alexander Holish told WDIV.

“Our understanding is that nobody in class got snack time after recess,” Holish said, noting that while students received lunch after recess, a new teacher scrapped any extra time for treats.

“By no means was the student singled out. The whole class did not get a snack time.”

Prosecutors said a search warrant at Scott’s home uncovered multiple rounds of ammunition.

School officials said extra police are now on campus to boost security, with students kept indoors for recess while the unhinged suspect remains in custody, the outlet reported.

“There is absolutely no excuse for threatening violence against a school or its staff—especially over something as minor as a classroom snack,” Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said in a statement.

“Our office takes all threats to schools seriously, and we will continue to pursue charges to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and our community.”

Scott was charged with ammunition possession by a prohibited person, intentional threat to commit an act of violence against a school, school employees, or students, and disorderly conduct.

Officials said he was charged as a fourth-offense habitual offender — meaning he was previously convicted for similar crimes, though the details of those offenses were not disclosed.

Scott was arraigned Thursday and bond was set at $150,000.

He was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and will be required to wear an ankle monitor if released from custody. He will also be prohibited from contacting the school of its employees, cops said.

He is due back in court on Nov. 5.
