EXCLUSIVE: Dancing with the Stars‘ thrillifying journey to the Emerald City on Tuesday was one for the history books, continuing Season 34’s hot streak with its best audience yet.

Wicked Night scored 6.63M total viewers, according to Nielsen’s Live+same-day Big Data + panel measurements, up 11% over Dedication Night the week prior.

Not only is the the largest audience of the season, it also marked the fifth consecutive week of growth for the series, which is quite unprecedented not just for this show but for television more generally.

Dancing with the Stars is the first fall show in at least 34 years, since the inception of Nielsen’s electronic measurement system in 1991, to grow its same-day audience for five straight weeks post-premiere.

Tuesday’s episode also landed an impressive 1.38 rating among adults 18-49, which is also a season high.

This has been an explosive season for Dancing with the Stars. The series continues to set voting records each week as well, and Wicked Night was no exception. Per Disney, 53.1M votes were cast during the two-hour show, up 6% from the week before to mark a new high.

As Julianne Hough mentioned during the live show, more than 100M votes have been cast in total at this point.

Dancing with the Stars returns next week for Halloween Night, where the nine remaining couples will spook and delight viewers with their routines. The dance marathon, “Dance Monster-thon,” returns, as well as two-time Mirrorball champion Cheryl Burke as guest judge.
