Two people are recovering after suffering minor injuries during a frightening home invasion robbery in Arcadia earlier this week.

The Oct. 22 incident occurred just before 1 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Foothill Boulevard, officials with the Arcadia Police Department said in a news release.

Investigators said four men, one of whom was armed with firearm and another with a knife, forced their way into the residence through the front door. Once inside, they tied up the victims before ransacking the home, stealing jewelry and the victims’ vehicle.

When the suspects, described as three Hispanic males and on Asian male all dressed in black clothing, fled the scene, last seen headed eastbound, both victims were able to free themselves and seek help.

Responding paramedics treated both victims at the scene for minor injuries, while officers and detectives processed the crime scene for evidence.

The unoccupied stolen vehicle was later located approximately 18 miles away in the 1400 block of West Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact the Arcadia Police Department at 626-574-5151. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call the L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-222-8477 or leave tips online at www.lacrimestoppers.org.
