A new best friend will be available for just $31 during a weeklong dog adoption event in Pasadena beginning on Friday.
“It’s all treats and no tricks this Halloween at Pasadena Humane – from October 24 through 31, dog lovers are invited to adopt during the Trick or Treat promotion at Pasadena Humane, where all dog adoptions are just $31, courtesy of generous sponsor Lyn Spector,” the nonprofit organization stated on its website.
Everyone who adopts a dog will also get to spin the Trick or Treat prize wheel for a chance to win discounts on training classes, branded merchandise or other special somethings to be shared with your new friend.
“There’s no better treat this Halloween than giving a dog a second chance,” President and CEO of Pasadena Humane Chris Ramon said. “With so many wonderful pups waiting to be adopted, now is the perfect time to fall in love with your new best friend.”
All adoptions include a spay or neuter, a microchip and any age-appropriate vaccinations.
Standard adoption procedures still apply during the promotion, and a licensing fee may be required based on the adopter’s location.
“New adopters will also receive a complimentary wellness exam with a partner veterinarian, along with a packet of helpful information on pet care,” Pasadena Humane said.
Those not ready to adopt can still help the Halloween event by donating items from the organization’s Howl-O-Ween Wishlist online shelter shop.
