A man was arrested for alleged sexual acts with a minor in San Bernardino County.
The suspect was identified as Julio Madrid, 39, according to the Fontana Police Department.
On October 19, police responded to a business in Fontana after a juvenile reported being approached by a man in the restroom.
The juvenile said Madrid had “made uncomfortable and advancing statements” to him. Officers arrived at the scene and spotted Madrid with another juvenile at the business.
Following an investigation, detectives determined Madrid had reportedly engaged in sexual acts with the minor he was found with at the business.
“Further investigation revealed evidence of Madrid’s involvement with sexual acts with a minor including possession of child pornography,” police said.
A search warrant was served at Madrid’s home in the 6800 block of Boeing Avenue in Fontana. He was arrested for sodomy with a minor under the age of 16 and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
Detectives believe Madrid is using social media platforms to contact minors. Several usernames he communicates under include:

- Facebook: Stephen Madrid
- TikTok: @jaysem_09 and @theretroguy22
Authorities believe there may be additional minor victims who have yet to come forward.
