EXCLUSIVE: Macro Film Studios has hired industry veteran Jeremy Stein to be the company’s Executive Vice President, Development & Production.
He joins the Macro division from Davis Entertainment, where his recent executive producer credits include this year’s Amazon title The Pickup starring Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson and last year’s Harold and the Purple Crayon. Previously he worked at Broken Road Productions, where he executive produced New Line Cinema’s Mortal Kombat, Warner Bros’ Into the Storm, Netflix’s Senior Year and Shudder’s Haunt.
He began his career at Jon Shestack Productions on Touchstone’s Dan in Real Life, Warner Bros’ Firewall, New Line Cinema’s Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and the Weinstein Company’s Escape from Planet Earth.
At Macro, he will report to film studios president James F. Lopez.

Israel, Esq., Just Mercy, Sorry To Bother You, Nine Days, Farewell Amor, Blast Beat, The Land and Blue Bayou. Its recent movies include TriStar’s One of Them Days, A24’s Opus, Lionsgate’s Freaky Tales and Netflix’s They Cloned Tyrone.
