EXCLUSIVE: Gail Bean (Snowfall) will be among the names honored at the Micheaux Film Festival’s 2025 Gold Night: Young Hollywood Party.
Also set to be honored on the night are Adriyan Rae, Mike Merrill, Tosin Morohunfola, Gail Bean, and Shanice Williams. The event will be hosted by RJ Cyler along with festival ambassadors Lil Rel Howery, Aida Rodriguez, and Kinigra Deon.
“These honorees represent the brilliance and diversity driving Hollywood’s future,” said Micheaux Film Festival co-founder Noel Braham. “Each has carved a unique path that embodies the creative fearlessness and cultural impact that the Micheaux Film Festival exists to celebrate.”
The 2025 Gold Night: Young Hollywood Party will close out this year’s Micheaux Film Festival. The festival will open with the World Premiere of Tari Wariebi’s series Remember, and the Los Angeles Premiere of the feature documentary It’s Dorothy. The festival will close with the West Coast Premiere of Rick Gomez’s She Dances.
Festival co-founder Courtney L. Branch added, “Gold Night is a tribute to artistry, perseverance, and the power of representation. Adriyan, Mike, Tosin, Gail, and Shaunice are not only exceptional talents—they’re role models for the next wave of filmmakers and performers redefining what’s possible in entertainment.”
The festival runs from October 23 to 26 at The Culver Theater.
