He just can’t let go.

Former national security adviser John Bolton was spotted still using his official White House bag tag Friday as he surrendered to face charges of unlawfully hoarding and transmitting classified information from his job in President Trump’s first term.

The blue and white luggage tag features an official seal and is used to ensure that items belonging to White House officials traveling aboard Air Force One are delivered to the correct hotel room on foreign trips.

“Is there anything this guy didn’t continue using after he left the White House?” a former White House colleague of Bolton’s told The Post when shown pictures of the 76-year-old leaving his Bethesda, Md. home Friday morning.

“Classified documents, bag tags, what else?”

A former National Security Council aide also ridiculed Bolton, whom a federal grand jury in Maryland charged Thursday with 18 criminal counts.

“What kind of loser travels around with a luggage tag from Air Force One that he got from a president that he hated so much eight years later?” this person jeered.

Bolton was fired by Trump in September 2019 and later emerged as a regular critic of his former boss, who in turn said that he strategically used Bolton’s “warmonger” reputation in international negotiations, despite personally considering him “crazy.”

Sources differ on the quality of the accoutrement that Bolton was toting more than six years after leaving the White House.

The former NSC aide called it a “crappy laminated luggage tag,” saying Bolton “would have hadto really preserve it. It’s very weird.”

A different former White House aide said, however, that many ex-officials keep the tags,” which they described as “durable.”

“I think mine’s still on my backpack,” this person said, while a fourth source added that the tags are considered “like souvenirs.”

Bolton pleaded not guilty to the indictment in Greenbelt, Md. federal court Friday and was released on his own recognizance. The next hearing in the case has been set for Nov. 21.
