PHOENIX — After Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing, 18 people in Arizona won a prize, but only one of them is $2 million richer, officials announced Wednesday.

The ticket that was worth $2 million was sold at the Circle K store near State Route 69 and Navajo Drive in Prescott Valley, according to the Arizona Lottery.

The five winning numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing were 12, 22, 49, 57 and 58. The gold Mega Ball was 19.

To win the $2 million prize, the ticket had to match all five winning numbers, but not the Mega Ball. The odds of winning were 1 in 12,629,232.

Along with the winning ticket in Prescott Valley, a ticket worth $2 million was sold in Texas.

Who else won prizes in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing in Arizona?

  • 3 Arizona Lottery tickets worth $50K drawn across Valley over the weekend
  • 12 Arizona tickets win at least $50K during Powerball drawing with near-record jackpot
  • What are the 10 largest US lottery jackpots ever won?
  • Mega Millions tickets rise to $5, but the lottery promises more giant jackpots

A total of 17 other players won prizes ranging between $600 and $30,000 in Tuesday night’s drawing.

The ticket worth $30,000 was sold at the Safeway store near 39th Avenue and Happy Valley Road in Phoenix.

A ticket worth $20,000 was sold at the Circle K store near 51st Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix.

Two tickets worth $2,500 were sold in the Valley. They were sold at:

  • Winners Corner, near Roosevelt Street and Broadway Road in Tempe.

  • Walmart, near Reems and Greenway roads in Surprise.

Three tickets worth $1,000 were sold across the state at:

  • Albertsons, near Queen Creek and Alma School roads in Chandler.
  • Safeway, near Mary Ann Cleveland Way and Colossal Cave Road in Vail.
  • Safeway, near Ray and McQueen roads in Chandler.

Finally, six tickets worth $600 were sold around Arizona at the following locations:

  • Fry’s Food Store, near Eagle Mountain Parkway and Shea Boulevard in Fountain Hills.
  • Fry’s Fuel Center, near Higley and Baseline roads in Gilbert.
  • Bashas’, near Reems and Waddell roads in Surprise.

The winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

What is Mega Millions?

Mega Millions is a nationwide game of chance with drawings on Tuesdays and Fridays.

No one won the jackpot in Tuesday night’s drawing, which means Friday’s drawing will be for an estimated $625 million, which is the largest jackpot since December 2024 and the 11th largest in Mega Millions history.

“It’s been more than three months since the last jackpot was won and that’s always exciting because it means a big, big jackpot,” Mega Millions Consortium Lead Director Joshua Johnston said in a press release.

Mega Millions tickets cost $5 each and can be purchased at more than 3,500 locations statewide. Every ticket includes a multiplier of 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.
