HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – In response to the ongoing federal furlough, the Land Trust of North Alabama is offering free tickets to affected employees for its upcoming Friday Night Flick movie screening at Three Caves.
The event, set for Friday, Oct. 24, will feature a showing of the original cult classic Beetlejuice at one of Alabama’s most distinctive outdoor venues. Gates open at 6 p.m., and admission includes complimentary popcorn and water. Food from Cave City BBQ, as well as beer and wine, will be available for purchase.
Furloughed employees can receive up to four free tickets by emailing [email protected] with their name, government organization, and the number of tickets requested.
“Our community includes so many people who serve through federal work, and this is a small way to say thank you,” said Caroline Kennedy, capital campaign and major gifts director for the Land Trust. “We hope an evening under the stars at Three Caves provides a little fun and connection during this time.”
General admission tickets are also available for others wishing to attend:
- $5 for guests under 18
- $15 for Land Trust members
- $20 for nonmembers
Land Trust members can access discounted tickets using the code shared in the Sept. 26 members-only email.
