Universal Studios Hollywood will once again transform into a winter wonderland this holiday season, bringing back popular seasonal events, including Grinchmas and Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The park’s holiday celebrations run daily from Nov. 24 through Jan. 4, 2026, and are included with general admission.
Universal Plaza will again serve as the center of “Grinchmas,” featuring a 65-foot tree decked out with hundreds of ornaments and thousands of LED lights. The nightly tree-lighting ceremony will return, complete with snow effects and performances from a Who-ville singing quartet.
Guests can also meet the Grinch and his dog Max, hear storytime readings from Cindy-Lou Who, mail postcards at the Who-ville post office, and decorate themed ornaments.
Over in Hogsmeade, holiday festivities will include themed décor, carol performances by the Frog Choir, and hot or cold Butterbeer for sale.
Each night, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show will illuminate the castle with festive imagery set to the film series’ score.
The Mushroom Kingdom will once again don holiday décor, including Mario- and Luigi-themed snowmen and a tree topped with a Super Star. Guests can also unlock limited-edition digital stamps using their Power-Up Bands between Dec. 1 and Feb. 28.
The holiday spirit will continue at Universal CityWalk, which will feature a 40-foot Christmas tree with more than 200,000 LED lights and live entertainment on select nights.
Admission to CityWalk is free.
