The Best Friends Super Adoption, a two-day pet adoption festival featuring hundreds of adorable, adoptable dogs and cats, will take place next month at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena.
“This year’s event will feature 20+ animal shelters and rescue groups that will spend the weekend coming together to help find loving homes for pets in need,” Best Friends Animal Society stated in an email on Thursday.
More than 600 dogs and cats will be on-site during the Super Adoption event, which takes place Nov. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rose Bowl Stadium, located on 1001 Rose Bowl Drive.
Best Friends says that all adoption fees will be under $150, and all attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy local food trucks, family-friendly activities and giveaways.
“Best Friends Super Adoption has been going on for over a quarter of a century,” said Executive Director Brittany Thorn. “This year, we’re excited to expand the event beyond adoptions by offering a little something for everyone.”
Best Friends encourages adopting a homeless pet from a shelter or rescue group in Los Angeles to save the life of a “loving and loyal dog or cat, while creating space for another pet in need.”
More information on the event can be found on the Best Friends Pet Super Adoption website.
Best Friends Animal Society, founded in 1984, describes itself as a leading animal welfare organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats in America’s shelters and making the entire country no-kill.
