NORMAL, Ala. (WHNT) — It is Homecoming Week on the Hill! And that means a lot of exciting things are taking place on campus this week.
On Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., students are invited to come to Frank Lewis Field dressed in their best all white fit for the ‘All White Bash.’ AAMU says that the outdoor celebration is all about high energy, great music, and unforgettable moments. At the night’s height, the university said powdered color will be thrown and transform the field into a “vibrant, color-filled celebration” of Bulldog pride.
Starting on Thursday morning, the university is holding an alumni golf tournament.
The faculty staff yard show is taking place at 12:30 p.m. Students can watch their favorite professors, advisors, and administrators hit the yard with step routines, strolls, and surprises.
That leads to a Thursday night filled with events, including the Alumni Pep Rally & Homecoming Mixer at 6 p.m. and the Homecoming Fashion Show and Maroon & White Market at 7 p.m.
And Friday on the Hill is packed with other fun events, like the Alumni Block Party at 11 a.m., an Alumni Day Party at 3 p.m., the NPHC Step Show at 7:30 p.m., the Alumni Homecoming Affair at 9 p.m.
Everything wraps up on Saturday with the Homecoming Parade at 8 a.m. and the AAMU Bulldogs vs. MS Valley State game at 2 p.m.
All that will be followed by a Homecoming Concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Von Braun Center which will feature rapper JT, Jeezy, Bossman Dlow and Young Nudy.
