Timothée Chalamet just starred in a livestream promoting his latest film, Marty Supreme, and shocked with a new buzzcut look.
The actor took to Instagram Live to start promo for the Josh Safdie-directed film loosely inspired by tennis player Marty Reisman. In the stream, Chalamet had a ping pong covering his head, and as he emerged from a vat, he revealed his shaved head.
Chalamet attended the New York Film Festival on Monday for a screening of the film, where he was seen wearing a baseball cap.

Chalamet plays the role of Marty Mauser in Marty Supreme, set to open nationwide on December 25th. The cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher.
Earlier this year, Paltrow opened up about filming Marty Supreme alongside Chalamet and the role that intimacy coordinators played during production.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Paltrow asked the intimacy coordinator to “step a little back,” telling the publication, “I was like, ‘Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.’”
Intimacy coordinators are people hired to facilitate communication between actors and directors during intimate scenes. This position emerged following the #MeToo movement.
Paltrow and Chalamet were seemingly comfortable with the scenes they had to perform and recalled telling them, “We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back.”
“I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but…if someone is like, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here’ … I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that,” she added.
As far as her co-star, Paltrow said Chalamet was “such a thinking man’s sex symbol,” adding, “He’s just a very polite, properly raised, I was going to say kid … He’s a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner.”
