Burger lovers in the Volunteer State won’t have to wait much longer to enjoy their first Double-Doubles and “Animal Style” fries.

Southern California-based In-N-Out Burger is set to open its first restaurants in Tennessee in early 2026, the company confirmed to KTLA, as part of a major expansion that includes a new regional headquarters in Franklin. Three of those stores — Antioch, Lebanon and Murfreesboro — are listed as “opening soon” on In-N-Out’s website, and the company is currently accepting job applications for those locations.

The fast-food chain is reportedly eyeing as many as 35 locations across Tennessee, marking its furthest eastward expansion to date.

Also slated to open “soon” are In-N-Out restaurants in Longmont, Colorado, and the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Sylmar, although specific opening dates have not yet been announced.

In-N-Out CEO Lynsi Snyder, 43, made headlines in July when she announced her family would relocate from California to Tennessee, citing the Golden State’s business climate and challenges with “raising a family” here. Snyder later had to clarify that the company was not moving its main corporate headquarters out of California.

Snyder’s grandparents, Harry and Esther Snyder, founded In-N-Out as a tiny burger stand in Baldwin Park, a suburb of Los Angeles, in 1948. The chain now boasts over 400 restaurants in 9 states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, Washington.

New Mexico is expected to get its first In-N-Out location in 2027.

Its most recent store opening was in Monrovia on Sept. 25. That location made headlines days later when a four-foot-long python was found in the drive-thru.

An employee safely captured the snake and took it to the Pasadena Humane Society, which later reunited it with its owner. The python, named Henny, had been missing from its home in San Bernardino for nearly two months.
